The Bateman Arms

Leominster
Herefordshire
HR6 9LX
The Bateman Arms is an 18th Century, three storey coaching inn situated in the small village of Shobdon in the unspoilt County of Herefordshire, just a few miles from the Welsh Border. There's plenty to do to revive your spirits. Historic houses, local museums, a visit to castle ruins - an evocative reminder of early border strife - gardens range from the delights of the traditional cottage garden to formal gardens with statuary and flowing water in a country house setting. Families are especially welcome in Herefordshire with a wealth of interesting animals and birds to visit and activities to enjoy. The Inn itself offers a wealth of character; you can sit in the friendly and relaxed atmosphere of the bar with its oak beams and large fireplace, where we serve a selection of light meals. Alternatively you can eat in our restaurant, which offers a menu of locally produced and sourced dishes.
